 In the late 1960’s Leer starting manufacturing truck caps, and when fiberglass was introduced to the manufacturing process, business really started booming. Plants soon opened up across North America, and Leer became a recognized leader in quality. In 1994, the Leer franchise opened its doors with three Island locations, Summerside, Charlottetown and Montague. It was opened by Mr. Wade Bryanton, and is now operated by Apple Auto Glass.
